Once again, the pinnacle of every season here at Bomber's Links Tours is the annual Ryder Cup. This, our 9th competition is shaping up to be the closest and most keenly contested yet, a welcome return to the tension of old, after the last few events have gone convincingly the way of the Blues.

The Canadian players have returned to the World Team once again after a spell with their North American brethren, but make no mistake, Team USA is primed to have its best run for some time, and is desperate to win this years event, to give themselves a chance to level the series at 5-5 next year when we run our 10th annual event.

Captains David Russell and Alan Riddle have prepared their teams, picked their lineups, and motivated their troops. Now it's time for the talking to stop and the golfing to start, at the famous K Club in Ireland, home of the real Ryder Cup this year, where Europe once again won in convincing fashion. Our thanks go to designer J Aherne and all who helped him for bringing this course to our rota, and also to the designers of the Ryder Cup animations we will be using in our matches this year from the Linksanimasters site. This is still the oldest and best of the Links Ryder Cup competitions, it doesn't get any better than this, and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I've enjoyed organising it, and competing in it, since 1997.
