First of all a great big THANK YOU to Stefan Sabellek for providing a site to mirror Bomber's pages until the server is straightened out. There is no forum yet, but hopefully Pete will get the server back up soon.
We also continue The World Matchplay, with most of the first round matches completed. Feel free to start the second round at Firestone North, if your opponent has been decided.
Please send me an email if you have any questions during the server issues and the lack of a forum.
Congratulations to Charlie Roberts for the win at the Australian Masters. This was accomplished with an incredible third round of 52 (-20) at Elite RTS.
This week we head to New Zealand's Kauri Cliffs.
I also want to announce a few changes. Ron Kwestroo (who has nearly perfected his RTS swing) wants to challenge himself and try PS Pro - I expect him to win an event soon, and get bumped to Champ level. Seriously, best of luck, Ron. I hope you enjoy it.
We are adding a 5,000 bonus for the longest putt and any Ace in a tournament to go along with the longest drive, closest to the pin, and the shot of the event. Don't forget to save those shots and send them in to Jim Logan by the close of the event. Please name shots files with "BLT"_prefix to be sure it gets through Jim's firewall at
- you may also use the email link on the homepage to send them. (Click the image).
Finally, I want to announce the start of the World Matchplay
Brackets, courses and rules are posted at the World Matchplay page.

Congratulations to Ron Kwestroo who wins the season-opening Mercedes Championship at Kapalua by 4 shots from Stian de Jager. This event saw some impressive scoring at the top end of the leaderboard. Next up is The Australian Open at Wagga Wagga CC. This course can be quite rewarding if you strike the ball well and keep it within the fairways. Good luck to all.
Update on the donations - the server has been paid for the year and Pete has been kind enough to donate the fee for the URL to remain registered (A special Thank You to Pete Hersom), however, I would like to pay the URL off for a multi-year discount. I'll keep you all posted. I WANT TO THANK ALL OF YOU! I hope I am able to live up to your support.
Congratulations to Ken Nicholls and Stian de Jager who tied for the 3 Club Challenge. This event forces you to create shots using the loft and control the distance you are able to hit the ball. Ken and Stian showed why they are always near the top of the Leaderboard.
I was able to add a paypal button to the homepage. The advantage of the button is that even those without a paypal account will be able to use it.
The cost of the server and URL are a bit more than I can afford on my own. ALL money donated will go directly to the upkeep of the site.
Thank you very much to those that have already given.
Congratulations to Don Miettinen and the World Team for their win in the 10th Annual Ryder Cup. Also congratulations to Charlie Roberts for leading in Merit Points in the 2007 Season.
