The first time I realised that the Statis Pro hobby was alive and kicking was when I did an idle search one day on Google and came up with one or two links. I remember DiceQ's pages being the main ones I found and Marty has done a lot of great stuff as part of his love of the hobby, I also found the Yahoo group which is also alive and well and hosts Alex Mittermeyer's great SPFBWin program, and I remember a Delphi forum too but I can't seem to find where that went to.
I'll try to keep these links up to date, so let me know if a site goes out of date or disappears, or if a new one appears. If you are a fellow enthusiast, let me know and give me some details so I can add you to our contacts page as part of a growing community!
Anyway, it was great to see other people around the world still interested in this hobby, playing games, making rules and creating card sets. This site is my own little contribution to the hobby and I hope that word will spread and more people will drop in and join the bandwagon. Eventually SPFBWin will no doubt feature network play and then we can really kick off with some proper competitions since networked ' face to face' games are quite time consuming, play by email games even more so and leagues and competitions never seem to stick around for long.
By collecting all the useful links and contacts on this page I hope to keep track of all the information that is out there, and believe me there's a great deal of stuff to be found. If you know of any good sites or information, or you want to be added to the list of contacts so that other players can contact you for discussions and ideas then let me know, it would be great to hear from all of you. There are so many sites out there now with detailed stats and analysis of every team and player and because of the world wide web phenomenon, there's never been a better time to be into Statis Pro with a raft of information just a mouse click away.
I'm starting to rebuild my NFL reading collection too and will try to compile a good list of recommended reads that will be of use to players wanting historical and statistical information but also for a general history and overview of the game of pro football, and the NFL in particular. I just got hold of a copy of Total Football 2 which is a massive tome containing an incredible amount of information stretching back to the beginnings of the game, and the annuall NFL record and facts book is also a fantastic reference.
Will be a comprehensive list of all sites related to Statis Pro football, Table Top football and any other stats tabletop style football games. If you know of a site that's not listed then please let me know so I can add it. I'll try to keep an eye on the sites to make sure they are current and give a little review of each one so you know what to expect from each link
DiceQ's Statis-Pro Football Pages [One][Two][Three][Four]
One of the great contributors to the SP hobby online over the years, this
is one of the first sites I ever found about SP and got me back interested
again after a long layoff
Statis Pro
for Windows
An early version of a PC game for Statis Pro using the 1997 season. Not to
be confused with the later, different version by Alex Mittermeyer which comes
with 1989, 2001 and 2002 and is much more polished. This is still a great
program though.
Statis Pro Yahoo Group
[football] [baseball]
Where most of the action has been going on until now - tends to be a bit quiet
these days but most of the regular SP football crowd drop in there from time
to time.
Delphi Forums [Statis-Pro]
[General]
A much bigger community of forums, although a bit messy to navigate at times.
Not so much material for Statis Pro football, but still a lot of useful stuff
ABC Tabletop Football
$39 for full version
Official extension of Statis-Pro covers 1999 and 2000 seasons only (2001 never

Will be a comprehensive list of all sites related to Statis Pro football, Table Top football and any other stats tabletop style football games. If you know of a site that's not listed then please let me know so I can add it. I'll try to keep an eye on the sites to make sure they are current and give a little review of each one so you know what to expect from each link

Links to official and unofficial stats sites from the NFL itself to the press organisations and also the hard working enthusiasts who spend their free time compiling annual stats for the NFL and post them for everyone to see on the internet. I guess the popularity of fantasy football has increased the interest in this kind of thing, but that's all the better for us Statis Pro fans who can use those stats to recreate favourite teams and players of the past.
The NFL currently only displays the last seasons stats, both regular and post season as well as the previous regular season stats. It's high time they upgraded to something more akin to MLB, where you can get stats for every player and season ever, including the post-season!
B-ball Sports Databases

I'll list fellow Statis Pro enthusiasts here, so if you want to be on this list just let me know and we can build some kind of community up and bring people together, I know there must be many more players out there than have been popping up on the boards I've seen so let's hope more people notice this site and drop by and join in. The more the merrier. I'd like to include a short bio on everyone and also give details on what sets you have, what rules you like to play and your Statis Pro experiences.
